The Alabama Museum of Natural History invites budding entomologists (Grades 5-8) to Bug Camp on June 21-25 from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. We'll have interactive lessons, live bugs, insect collection, nature walks, and more! It's a great way to explore the importance of insects through the use of hands-on activities, science demonstrations, and field trips. Campers will learn all about entomology from experts in the field, go on adventures around campus, learn how to collect and care for insects, and end the week learning about entomophagy while tasting treats! Dates / Times: Bug Camp will be held June 21-25 from 8 AM until 4:30 PM at the Alabama Museum of Natural History. Cost: The cost for this program is $175 for UA Museums members and $200 for non-members.
