Selling Branch Manager

To ensure a professional branch staff team by retaining, motivating, counseling and terminating as needed. To provide outstanding customer service to new business, existing business and all staff representing Personnel Staffing, Inc. Increase new business, maintain existing business and provide outstanding customer service.
 
DUTIES:
 
Operations:
 
A. Manages professional branch staff and promotes teamwork.
 
B. Makes decision, often difficult and/or unpopular, that impacts the work of subordinates within the branch; influences staff to support decision by presenting rationale/business decision.
 
C. Builds confidence and respect of others through a positive and energizing style.
 
D. Resolves operational problems that impact the effectiveness of branch.
 
E. Encourages staff to strive for operational excellence by continually challenging old methods or ways of thinking and taking responsible risks to maximize results; serves as a positive role model in innovating thinking and focusing on team respect and enthusiasm.
 
F. Become proficient in staffing software.
 
G. Follows corporate policies & operational procedures.
 
H. Manages branch financial target and allocates resources accordingly, applying knowledge of profit drivers within the branch.
 
I. Be conscientious maintaining branch expenses to a minimum necessary (mileage, petty cash, entertainment, etc.).
 
Sales:
 
A. Make regular business phone calls for the purpose of soliciting and servicing business.
 
B. Hit matrix marks each week on physical touches, emails, phone calls and appointments.
 
C. Issue “thank you” letters and “proposals” on an as needed basis.
 
D. Follow up promptly with all business leads from sources within the company.
 
E. Manage through customer service existing business within the branch.
 
F. Regularly attend networking events with local SHRM, Chamber of Commerce, BNI and other networking groups for the purpose increasing new business.
 
Administration:
 
A. Maintain updated and current customer information files.
 
B. Keep abreast of competitor’s activities and pricing structures.
 
C. Maintain active membership in approved civic or trade groups for the purpose of representing the company, meeting prospective customers, or improving the business stature of Personnel Staffing, Inc.
 
D. Motivate fellow employees and build team work within the branch, area, division, and/or company.
 
E. Have a working knowledge of all forms that pertain to the branch.
 
F. Have Hold Harmless Agreements signed by client companies, on an as needed basis.
 
G. Have all Safety Partnership Agreements signed by client companies on an as needed basis.
 
H. Serve as backup to any positions in the branch, on an as needed basis.
 
I. Promptly write up all job orders received while making outside sales calls.
 
J. Maintain an accurate and updated direct mail list.
 
K. Provide recruiting assistance for specific client accounts and on an ongoing basis for the overall database to improve its availability.
 
L. Attend and promote regular daily meeting with team to provide opportunities for feedback as it relates to servicing our current client base as well as prospective client base. Relay information gathered from on-site visits with clients to team members. Give feedback on the conditions/environment and how Personnel Staffing, Inc. staffers could be affected.
 
M. Update database as it pertains to all client information. “Directions”, “Value Added Services”, “Bill Rates”, “Comp Codes”, etc
 
N. Look up the proper Worker’s Compensation Codes before calculating all new client Bill Rates.
 
O. Schedule and perform plant tours and client visits for yourself and staff.
 
P. Initiate credit application on all new accounts then forward to accounting department for approval.
 
Q. Enter into our database all new client files and prospects files on a regular ongoing basis.
 
R. Document notes and activity in software on a daily basis.
 
S. Ensure prompt and appropriate resolutions of client/applicant concerns, problems or complaints and the accurate and complete documentation of such.
 
T. Responsible for completing all work obligations without regard to possible additional hours necessary; must work flexible hours as needed.
 
U. Conducts telemarketing calls on a regular basis.
 
V. Attend all Personnel Staffing, Inc. meetings or business functions as specified by the Regional Manager or corporate management.
 
W. Performs other related duties as deemed necessary by Regional Manager or corporate management.
 
X. Be available for training at Corporate headquarters or where specified by Regional Manager or corporate management.
 
Y. Promotes staff professional dress attire.
 
Z. Salaried position; comp time not applicable.
 
AA. Attendance is an essential function of the job.
 
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $50,000 - $75,000 per year DOE
